Restaurant
At Choice Hotels we are proud of the fact that we have owned the Claremont for over 50 years and in that time we like to think we know what we are doing when it comes to cooking and serving food.
When you arrive at our restaurant door you will be made to feel welcome by Linda, our new restaurant manager, who has transferred from the Cliffs hotel. Along with the rest of her team they will assist you for the duration of your stay.
Many of our guests return time and time again to sample the delights that our Head Chef Ian Robson, who has been with us for 20 years, and his brigade of chefs cook for your evening three course dinner. There is enough choice for everyone with seven starters, four main courses and seven sweets to choose from. We have an excellent reputation for the standard of our food, which is enhanced by working closely with our local suppliers to ensure that we receive good quality produce.
Our traditional-styled restaurant can accommodate up to 300 people and a popular area in summer is our sun lounge with stunning views over the Irish Sea and breath-taking sun sets at dusk.
As a family hotel, children are welcome to eat from our evening menu or choose from our children’s menu, which features a colouring and activity sheet.
Our new self-service hot buffet breakfast and sweets have proved a hit for 2012! Help yourself to whatever you would like for your breakfast and dessert each day. And don’t forget to try out Ian Robson’s new ‘chefs signature dish’ this Winter!
